About
Whangarei Upholstery is run by Goldie and his wife Trish from their workshop on Lockheed Place in Onerahi. The business operated in Auckland from the late 1980s before they moved it north to Whangarei. They work on everything from modern lounge suites to antiques, recovering a piece completely or partly, and respect the original materials and techniques used in its upholstery. Alongside chairs and sofas they recover boat and caravan squabs, make window seat cushions and build upholstered headboards to order.
